Beginning Monday, May 15, 2017, North County Lifeline will begin teaching our comprehensive sexual health education to all Grade 9 students. They will be using the Positive Prevention PLUS curriculum. California state law, the California Healthy Youth Act, requires that comprehensive sexual health education and HIV prevention education be provided to students at least once in high school. Students will be pulled out in a two full day presentations. Students will be given a notice the week prior of the location and date that they need to report to.
If you should have any questions, including of how to opt your child out, please contact Mr. Greene at 760-901-8015 or Mrs. Lomelin at 760-901-8018; their email addresses are also listed on the EC website.
