Registration Information for the 2015-2016 School Year

Registration Information.jpgRegistration for the 2015 - 2016 school year will begin in August.  Everyone must start the data confirmation process online through your Aeries Parent Portal.  The window for data confirmation will open on July 27.  For a complete list of dates and times, paperwork required at registration, website for online login, and general information, please click here (English or Spanish).  If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at 760-901-8000.

Class of 2016 Senior Pictures

El Camino High Parents and Students of the Class of 2016,

As we start to plan one of the most memorable years of your life, we want to inform you about some important dates that will be happening during the summer.

El Camino High School has contracted P.S.S. Imaging to take the class of 2016’s Senior Portraits. Make an appointment with them as soon as possible by calling (714)630-7785, Monday through Friday, from 10am to 4pm. Please expect more information from P.S.S. Imaging in the mail. As an added convenience, photography sessions will be taken on the El Camino High School Campus and beach sessions will be available.

Packages range in price, but all students are required to take a picture for the yearbook. Session for yearbook picture only is at no cost to our students. Please click HERE to see a copy of their price list.

Dates: June 29, 30 and July 1, 2, 6, 7

Location: ECHS Choir Room (Room 902)

Appointment Times: 9am to 6pm

 

Dates: August 10, 11, 12, 13, 14

Location: ECHS Dance Room (ECHS Gym)

Appointment Times: 9am to 6pm

Volunteers Needed For Registration

We are looking for parent and student volunteers to help with registration.  Students can earn Community Service hours.

Summer Office Hours

officehoursclipart_0.jpgDuring the summer, our office will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. through July 21st.  We will be closed on July 3rd.  Beginning August 3rd, we will resume our regular hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Avoid delays at registration!

Your library and textbook account must be clear in order to avoid delays at registration for the 2015-16 school year coming up in August. If you did not get all textbooks and library books returned or fines paid yet, come to the ECHS Library or AV Office (next to the Library) and return or pay for your books before June 18, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Destiny Textbook Link

  1. Select El Camino High School.
  2. Login --> Right hand corner.
  3. Type in your student ID # and your password is your 8 digit birthday.
  4. Your full name should appear in the right hand corner.
  5. Click on the My Info tab on the top menu.
  6. All the textbooks, library books, and any library fines will be on your record. 
  7. Come to the Library or AV Office before June 18th, Mon. through Fri., 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and return or pay for any items on your account.

Following these steps will help you avoid delays at registration in August!

EC GEAR UP Summer School 2015

El Camino's GEAR UP Summer School starts Monday, June 15 at 8 a.m.

If you are attending summer school, plan to be at El Camino on Monday morning, June 15.  Classroom assignments will be posted on the Attendance Office windows.

Please arrive by 7:45 to consult the posted room assignment list (on the attendance windows).

Here are a few more details:

  • The focus of the summer school program is for students to recover credit from a D or F.
  • Dates: June 15-July 10
  • 8 a.m.-noon every day (Monday-Friday)
  • Some courses will be in a traditional classroom format, some will be in the computer format using APEX online learning.
  • Free breakfast (7:30 a.m.) and free lunch (12:00) will be available to all participants.
  • There will be a bus from Chavez Middle School - pick up at 7:30, return at approximately 12:45.
  • Questions?  Contact Mr. Wright at 760-901-8123.

There's still room for students to enroll in summer school.  Fill out the attached application and bring it to El Camino the week of June 8-12.
